OUR HISTORY

Maxwel Exporters was established in Meerut by Mr. Kulbhushan Gupta as a sole propreitorship firm and with a sole focus on Indian domesticmarket. Having started mainly as a domestic seller and manufacturer of footballs and cricket equipment, Maxwel soon progressed to begin a  export oriented unit. In 1991, apart from footballs , Maxwel took a plunge into the overseas market of Track & Field Equipment followed by Soccer Training Equipment in 2001. Gradually Maxwel switched over to only manufacturing and exporting specialist Track & Field , Soccer Training Equipment and PhysicalFitness Equipment. Ever since, Maxwel has been reinforcing its image as the most dependable manufacurer in the Indian Sports Industry. Our main markets are USA, UK, Germany, France, BeNeLux, Poland, Italy, Spain, Nordic countries, rest fo EU countries, South America, South East Asia, Middle East and Australia. Apart from being a catalogue based manufacturer and exporter, Maxwel is now an OEM. A large part of our business concerns producing bulk quantities patented products for some of the world’s best brands.

PRODUCTION PLANNING 

We understand that apart from quality of the products, lead times are also a big concern during these days. Keeping this concern in mind, very recently we have introduced a Finite Capacity Scheduling system (FCS) to assist us with planning and sequencing of the orders in a predetermined manner.

Our qualified Operations staff has undergone the training  throughout this process to optimize our manufacturing processes with an aim of bringing the production times way less than the normal industry standards known to us. We have recently introduced an online order tracking system through which our buyers can trace the status of their orders in real time.

INDUSTRIAL BACKGROUND

We are a forty years old company and one of India’s leading export houses specializing in manufacturing of Sports Equipment. In addition to its core product line, Maxwel has been an original equipment manufacturer to world-renowned climbing equipment brands. We have a state-of-the-art infrastructure comprising of metalwork, CNC machining, forging, plastic injection moulding, hosiery and rubber moulding units. Manufacturing climbing equipment is not everyone’s cup of tea. We realized that our location, resources, and expertise in manufacturing placed us in a unique position to bolster our position as a trusted equipment supplier, give buyers access to high quality gear and ultimately excel Indian sports equipment into the future. This has been the original idea, and one that we continue to hold onto today.

TESTING FACILITIES

We are the only Indian manufacturer that have taken an initiative in opening its own ISO 17025: 2005 certified (NABL) laboratory. This has given us a free hand access to test the quality of raw materials as well as physical properties of the finished goods. We follow EN standards to test to our products. Our lab features tensile and compression testing facilities, fabric tear and tensile strength, waterproofing and water permeability tests and colour fastness tests. We are currently in the process of setting up our own test tower for impact load testing of multipurpose and climbing. The project is set to be complete in June 2018.
